Vikings Could Make or Break Browns Draft

With about 10 hours to go before the NFL draft, I feel like a little kid on Christmas Eve. I also feel like I could possibly take a trip up to Minnesota to kill anyone in the Vikings front office if they decide to trade there #3 overall pick, therefore blocking the Browns from drafting Bama RB Trent Richardson. In this very possible scenario, Tampa Bay which covets Richardson could very well put a package together to move up the two spots, leapfrogging Cleveland, and picking him forcing the Browns to go with plan "B" (if in fact the Browns do plan on taking Richardson). Minnesota is in a very plausible scenario where it seems that they will select USC OT Matt Kalil , However, they could also move down several positions, adding draft picks in a trade, and still get there guy. For a team like Minnesota who wouldn't mind adding draft picks this year. A trade could very well happen this evening. The other scenario could be the possibility that the St Louis Rams cou

Things to Look for on Draft Day

Just posting some links that I have come across that you may find enjoyable Browns War Room 2012 NFL Draft Order Josh Cribbs is SUPER FAST, in his Bentley. Browns, not good in drafting All-Pro Athletes . Tannehill did NOT meet with Mike Holmgren during recent visit . Again the Browns will pick in the following order (obviously this will most likely change): Rd 1 picks 4 and 22 (from ATL) Rd 2 pick 5 Rd 3 pick 4 Rd 4 picks 5 and 23 (from ATL) Rd 5 picks 4 and 25 (from DEN) Rd 6 picks 34 and 35 (both compensatory) Rd 7 picks 4, 38 and 40 (both compensatory)

The Browns' Draft of 2012

Earlier today as I was perusing through the streets of Akron, I was listening to the boys on 923thefan.com, and they came up with a disgusting fact. Since 1999, in just the QB, RB, and WR positions, the Browns have drafted 35 players. Names like Lee Suggs, Braylon Edwards, Brady Quinn, Syndric Steptoe, William Green, Travis Prentice and so on, have been drafted to contribute to the team and the NFL about as much as Paris Hilton has contributed to mankind. Our Brownies continue to be the the near laughing stock on the NFL. With a killer schedule coming up this season, a ton of talent to make this team better and not enough first round picks to fill those holes, I can see the new slogan for the Browns this year: Bark for Barkley The Browns need play makers. I would say more offense than defense at this point. But I don't think that getting a WR or QB at #4 will make this team really any better. I believe the best way to make this team be more competitive is to draft a RB like Tr

Give the Ball to Trent Richardson

With just over a week until draft day, the rumor mill (aka speculation mill) is running at ludicrous speed. So anyhow, the Rams and Eagles and maybe half a dozen other team have inquired about trading up in the draft to the Browns #4 pick. Look, getting more picks is a good thing for this team. But at some point we need to get REAL playmakers on the field. I'm talking about top tier studs. I didnt loose much sleep in not getting Falcons WR Julio Jones in last years draft (mostly because I would rather have had AJ Green) but we have to get some difference makers this year. Thats why I want to see the Browns stay at #4 overall and draft Bama RB Trent Richardson. Some of you can bitch all you want about drafting a RB that high, but damn near everyone thinks he's the best RB to come out of college since Adrian Peterson. He can run, catch, and block. How do those things not help this offense from day one? I changed my mind from wanting Justin Blackmon. For mostly character
