Ex Browns: Picks of Future Past

Above you will notice old faces with whom you may have a jersey of sitting in the back of your closet collecting dust. With names such as Richardson, Mingo, Manziel, Green, Weedon, Quinn, Robiskie, Little and the list goes on. Like most red blooded Americans, we like flash, we like bling, we like sexy. Drafting D-line or O-line personnel are not these things. When your team decides to trade down in the draft and draft a center from Cal, its just not SEXY.  Draft me a guy who will suit up in the number 88 and catch for 1400 yds and 11 TD's in round one.   However........... DT Leonard Williams could be a stud. Phil Taylor has been hit by the injury bug in each of the last three years and never really seemed to be the real play maker we need on that defensive front.  OLB Dante Fowler Jr  like Williams above, the Browns will need to trade up if they would like him practicing in Berea this year. He totaled 25 sacks his last two years at Florida and if Barkevio

Browns Could be Key to Where Mariota Lands

We all know by that our Brownies currently have picks 12 and 19 in next weeks draft. There are probably countless ways that the Browns could pull something off where we add talent and depth to this team or trade away all there picks for the next 2 years and only have a spread offense QB to show for it. I say if the Eagles will give Chip Kelly the power to make crazy trades, why not try and take advantage of that? Move down a few spots, gain extra picks and just make this team better from top to bottom instead of just focusing on one or two positions. However I don't see Sam Bradford doing any sort of sign and trade to the Browns. He does not want to play in Cleveland, even as the away team. Maybe we could even pull off a trade with the Chargers to get Phillip Rivers. He isn't my most favorite player in the world but compare him to what we have he looks pretty good. Plus you could plug him right in and play from day one. From Draft Insiders- – Expect the talk of teams

Your Cleveland Browns 2015 Schedule

Couple of pieces to point out: We start the year on the road which I believe has only happened three or four times since our rebirth. We have a Thursday night game at Cincy and a Monday night game at home against Baltimore . Our bye is on week eleven and that will be a good place to collect ourselves and we end the last third of the year against some pretty tough opponents. Being that we are playing a lot of AFC/NFC West teams we only have two 4:05 starts. Links of Interest: NFL Draft Full NFL 2015 Schedule

Manziel Released from Rehab

Well the real fun now begins. Johnny Football is out of rehab and with all signs pointing to that the Browns organization has moved on after just one year. What will happen to last years 1st round pick? There is not much market for a short, inexperienced, problem child, backup QB. For any team to take him in a trade we would really need to put up some real value to make a deal happen.  Lots of stories will start to swirl now that the draft is less than three weeks away. Be wary of what you read. Then again believe anything that you hear/read since Jimmy "do as I say not as I do" Haslam is running the show along with GM extraordinaire Ray "rollin the dice" Farmer.

Browns Looking to Move Up for Marcus Mariota

Not really all that surprising. From now until the draft you will always see rumors flying around but I really cant put this past the Browns that they wouldn't be trying to pull this off. Read the full story here Cleveland has also found a replacement for the oft injured Jordan Cameron or if you are the Dolphins, Cameron Jordan. Your new pass catching tight end  Rob Housler . He is currently on a one year deal and should see much playing time as of right now we have no one else. His best year was in 2012 where he caught 45 balls for the Cardinals for 400 yds. He has a career TD total of 1. Yes 1.

How Does Johnny Football Figure Into This Years Draft?

With the NFL Draft fast approaching your Cleveland Browns are faced with another slew of challenges (and by challenges I really mean a giant shit storm of problems). It is beyond obvious that GM Ray Farmer is clueless on how to build a team through the draft and all the corner office suits are so inept at there positions that we can't even get any decent free agents to visit let alone sign here. The Browns are currently picking 12th and 19th in the first round. Depending on the mock draft the Browns could be doing anything from trading up with  Tennessee to draft Marcus Mariota or just turning in a blank card on draft day. For once, the Browns should only do one of two things. One: Stay at both 12 and 19 and draft the best available player or your "big board" at those spots. We basically suck at every position but LT, C, and one CB spot. Bolster your roster from top to bottom, add depth, play makers, make smart decisions. If the QB you want is not going to be
