Metcalf Up the Middle

Thats right, news has it that Brady Quinn has been traded to the Denver Broncos for RB Peyton Hillis and 2 future undisclosed draft choices - http://bit.ly/c6TjBE **Just in ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the draft picks are a 6th round pick in the 2011 draft and a conditional late-round pick in 2012 . That is no real big news. Ever since the acquisition of Seneca Wallace and Jake Delhomme, it was only a matter of time that Brady left North East Ohio. Now a rumor that simultaneously arrived was the (possible) departure of Kameron Wimbley to Oakland for a still uncertain draft pick(s).

I came across a story earlier today that involved a tale of Browns head coach Eric Mangini fining a player over $1k for not paying for a $3 bottle of water at a hotel. Read More . No big deal, he's just trying to install his message to the players. Then the Denver 27 Browns 6 game ended. Eric Mangini will be fired at seasons end in 2010. Starting with the worst: Oakland Raiders (Hang'em up already Al Davis) Detroit Lions Denver Broncos St. Louis Rams Kansas City Chiefs It has been well documented that things have been pretty messy in Denver since the divorce of Mike Shanahan and the Broncos and the trade of Jay Cutler to the Bears during the off season. The Broncos have a mental case in WR Brandon Marshall, a great 2nd year WR in Eddie Royal, and an unproven rookie RB in Knowshon Moreno....( read more ) . To top it all off they have a slow and ancient defense, aka LB Andra Davis, S Brian Dawkins, and DL Vonnie Holiday. Again key to winning this game will be ball control (as will every game for us this season). If we can replicate the first half of the Vikings game, we could be looking at our fist win of the young season. Three things to look at from the Browns offe...
