Forget what you want.....work with what you got.

After painfully making it through about 3 quarters of last Saturdays preseason game against Green Bay, there was one thing that made me fill with disgust other than the list of 1000 other issues with our Browns. The defense.

I've been tinkering with how to present my/our frustration with these 11 people that take the field each Sunday over the past 10 years. My feelings are that it pains me more than anything to watch the stifling defense that Baltimore makes me cringe more than every time someone brings up the former Browns owner that rhymes with Fart Hotel.

The bust draft pics (Courtney Brown and a google of others), the ruptured Achilles tendon (Jamir Miller), the overpaid free agents that were to be more mentors than players (Willie McGinest), and the players that were good but just not good enough to get us over the hump (Andra Davis).

Well anyhow, the obvious fad is implementing the 3-4 defense, the Patriots use it (or used if you read on) Green Bay is now using it, and slew of others run this scheme. But here is the problem, the key to any defensive scheme is to have the appropriate personnel to allow those players to play there role in order to expose the weaknesses of the opposing offense.

The following article presents my frustrations in non four letter words. Enjoy!

2018 NFL Draft Cleveland Browns Preview

***UPDATE #2*** Per RotoWorld and Jordan Raanan of ESPN: Rumor has it that the NY Giants are only willing to spend the 2nd overall pick in April's draft for a QB if it were going to be Sam Darnold. Read More    Browns also made another move in for the secondary by signing CB EJ Gaines. Read More. **UPDATE** As many of you have probably already scene. The NY Giants traded DE Jason Pierre-Paul to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday. Really, three things could happen here. Giants draft a QB or Barkely. They could still trade out with Buffalo or another sneaker team that no one is aware of yet. Finally, and what seems to now make the most sense, they draft DE Bradley Chubb in place of JPP's vacancy.   Who will be the one? Just weeks away from the 2018 NFL Draft and our beloved Cleveland Browns find themselves again picking high in Round 1.  At this point, with the New York Jets trading up to the #3 spot it looks like this draft could be shaking u...

NFL Trade Deadline at 4pm Today.

With any of the 4 major sports, there are always rumors galour during the trade deadline. Along with an Indians team that fell well short of expectations. The Browns may also be in a selling mood. Names being mentioned have been Joshua Cribbs, Brady Quinn, Kameron Wimbley and Shaun Rodgers. Another name being mentioned as been former Buckeye Ted Ginn Jr of the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins may now have realized that they took him way to high in the draft just a few years ago. However if the Browns want a vertical threat at the right price, Ginn could be there man. If you recall rumors circulated earlier this year that the Dolphins and Browns were talking Braylon Edwards and Ronnie Brown. Maybe we can trade Wimbley for Bill Parcells instead? At this point I am still reluctant to give up Wimbley. Yes, he has fallen short of expectations from his standout rookie season, but on the other hand, he already has matched his sack totals from a year ago (4), and is on pace to beat his tota...

How Does Johnny Football Figure Into This Years Draft?

With the NFL Draft fast approaching your Cleveland Browns are faced with another slew of challenges (and by challenges I really mean a giant shit storm of problems). It is beyond obvious that GM Ray Farmer is clueless on how to build a team through the draft and all the corner office suits are so inept at there positions that we can't even get any decent free agents to visit let alone sign here. The Browns are currently picking 12th and 19th in the first round. Depending on the mock draft the Browns could be doing anything from trading up with  Tennessee to draft Marcus Mariota or just turning in a blank card on draft day. For once, the Browns should only do one of two things. One: Stay at both 12 and 19 and draft the best available player or your "big board" at those spots. We basically suck at every position but LT, C, and one CB spot. Bolster your roster from top to bottom, add depth, play makers, make smart decisions. If the QB you want is not going to be...
